What is Virtual PC ?

Virtual PC lets you create separate virtual machines on the desktop of your Windows, each of which virtualizes the hardware of a complete physical computer. Use virtual machines to run operating systems such as MS-DOS, Windows and 9X/NT/2000/XP/2003 Vista, Linux, OS / 2 and others.

Microsoft has issued new Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 software version of their VM. You can use it to run multiple operating systems (also called “guests”) simultaneously on the same physical computer (also known as “the factory owner”). You can easily switch between virtual machines with the click of a button. Use virtual machines to run legacy applications, provide support, training users, and enhance quality assurance.

An x64-based or an x86-based computer with 400 MHz or faster (1 GHz recommended) processor with L2 cache.

RAM: Add the requirements of RAM for the operating system server that will be used to request the guest operating system you are using. If you will be using multiple guest operating systems simultaneously, total the requirements for all guest operating systems you need to run simultaneously.

Available disk space: To determine the hard disk space needed, add the requirements for each guest operating system will be installed.
